Vehicle return

  • Vehicle return takes place at a certain time and place agreed by Arval and your employer.
  • The returned car should be washed in order to enable the car body inspection.
  • The inside of the vehicle should be clean and the ashtrays should be empty.
  • By vehicle return you will be asked to sign the „Vehicle Return Protocol” which specifies the car condition and mileage at the moment of return.
  • The rules of vehicle condition assessment by the termination of contract are included in the guidebook "Vehicle return assessment”.
  • We ask you to take care of the vehicle you are using, because at the end of the rental period and after the vehicle return its condition will influence the financial settlement between Arval and your employer.
  • The following equipment should be returned with the vehicle:
     
    • Full set of keys and autopilots which you received by vehicle collection
    • Registration card
    • Insurance policy certificate
    • Service booklet and possible other documents issued for certain vehicles
    • Vehicle instruction manual, radio instruction manual, radio code (if the car is equipped with a radio)
    • Fuel Cards (without the PIN code)
    • Other accessories and devices received at the moment of vehicle collection, as well as additional accessories in which the vehicle was equipped in the rental period, such as: warning triangle, spare tyre, car lift, loud-speaking device, safety rim screw spanner, etc.
       
  • Additional designations, inscriptions or other trademarks on the car windows or car body should be removed. The removed elements should not leave any signs of varnish damage or decolouration.
  • Any failure and/or improper functioning of the milometer should be immediately reported to Arval. Any attempts of interference in the functioning of the gauges (milometer, etc.) are forbidden.
